Project Outline

Mood Park Albion Park – Playground Upgrade

Mood Park is one of 4 parks CRS was awarded; it is a local park located in the main street of Albion Park and therefore has high visitation by both the local population and visitors to the area.
The park reflects the pioneer history of the area, CRS worked with Shellharbour City Council to create a play space that is sympathetic to the existing embellishments and heritage theme of the park as a whole.

Our Obelisk windmill tower was the perfect fit for the site. We also included anvil hammer play panels, incorporated horseshoe shape wetpour rubber below the water play area. All the materials and colour tones reflected the surrounding environment.

The new playspace also featured Sp-003 all ability’s carousal, Double Bay swing, Water play, Natural agility trail, New Fence was required to the eastern boundary of the playground to mitigate users wandering onto Terry Street, Landscaping and all access concrete paths leading the way throughout the park.
