Project Outline:

Introducing our nature play space at South Eastern Park.

CRS drew inspiration from the ancient proverb ‘Nature – The best teacher!’ – It’s true, nature provides everything we need to know; we just need to discover it.

CRS designed and constructed everything to compliment the natural surrounding landscape. The KliX Nature Play equipment was the perfect choice for this project. The irregular timber shapes and textures are meticulously sanded and pre-coated with timber oil. This provides the natural cognitive and physical benefits that little fingers need, without the splinters.

The play space consists of a KliX Nature Play fort, equipped with a Burmese bridge, rope climber and timber access ramp. The fort is perfectly positioned next to a large shady tree, where a series of hopping logs test balance, speed and judgment.

Not too far away, voice-tubes send secret messages underground, a large nest swing hangs in the air whilst a cute accessible buggy rocker waits for its next rider.

This play space offers more than just a fun, recreation space for children and their carers. It also promotes the use of Ironbark timber, sourced from a sustainable Australian plantation. Ironbark has a Class 1 durability rating, perfect for structural use, longevity and is aesthetically pleasing to boot.

Central Coast Council is excited with the result and with 20+ activities to explore, the kiddies will be over the moon too.

CRS took care of the entire project from start to finish. This included the initial design, site excavation, equipment installation and surrounding landscaping.
