Birralee Reserve, Gerringong has been transformed into a Pirate Theme oasis, thanks to this creative collaboration with Kiama Municipal Council and CRS. The space now boasts imaginative play for all ages and abilities, bringing a touch of magic and imagination to the community of Gerringong.

A custom revised THEMEplay Pirate Ship Playfort is the star of the transformation, allowing guests to dive into an environment of role play, and adventuring through the variety of activities on the Pirate Ship Structure. With climbing, sliding and balance engaging elements, the Pirate Ship Playfort truly has something for all visitors, encouraging guests to participate in collaborate play.

As visitors move through the space, a Nature Play Trail provides a grounded, tactile play experience that connects the journey. The trail’s natural play elements guide guests seamlessly from the Playfort to the Swing Set and Access Spinner, creating an engaging pathway that invites exploration both visually and physically. Our one-of-a-kind KliX ACCESSplay Spinner ensures guests of all abilities can enjoy the space, with smooth wheelchair access, seating and handles.

Overall, the space successfully achieves Council’s vision to transform the reserve into an imaginative environment, where visitors can go to relax, play and make-belief as a community.
