Fred Ball Park, Albion Park
Client:Â Shellharbour City Council
Location: Franklin Pl, Albion Park NSW 2527
Budget: $135,000-$175,000
Project Outline
Due to public demand, Shellharbour City Council asked CRS to design and construct a brand new Ninja/obstacle course at Fred Ball Park. Local parents/carers are pushing for a fun space that encouraged children to get outside and exercise.
The course consists of 8 challenging obstacles from the KliX NINJAplay range. Each apparatus tests different skill sets such as speed, balance, upper-body strength, agility, coordination and judgment. A two-tone green rubber surface with soft fall cushioning guides children around the circuit and protects them should they fall.
Nearby, sandstone blocks, a park bench and a modern water fountain bubbler with a dog bowl were installed to insure all athletes can rest and stay hydrated.
