Balmoral Beach Mosman – Playground Upgrade
Mosman Council awarded CRS another major playground upgrade on the esplanade Mosman designed by Mosman Council.
The entire site totalled 1500m2 consisting of:
Site Establishment: Site fencing and signage, (detailed pedestrian exclusion plan and traffic management plan)
Demolition: demolish and remove existing playground equipment and softfall plus miscellaneous timber pieces and brick coping as outlined in demolition plan. Materials where recycled where possible.
Site Excavation and Playground Base Preparation: Excavate for Softfall (as per manufacturers specifications), supply and install 350ton roadbase for equipment purposes and new playground site to appropriate levels.
Turfing and Planting: excavate to 200mm, add new soil and new couch turf to match surrounding levels.
Playground equipment installation management.
Refurbishment and reinstallation of existing boat-shaped playground equipment.
Concrete Pathways: Installation of 1.8m wide pathways as shown on supplied plan and as per Councils’ Standard Drawing SD104.
Softfall: Supply and installation of 483m2 sand coloured EPDM rubber softfall.
Marine Grade Fencing: to match existing plus 2 gates Approximately 83 lineal metres.
Supply and Installation of benches and picnic tables.
302m2 Mulching
No subcontractors were used in this project, CRS multi-skilled installation team completed the project within a 2-week timeframe.
