Barry Stonham Park, Tuncurry Rockpool
Barry Stonham Park is located on the NSW Central Coast at Tuncurry Rockpool.
Mid-Coast Council awarded CRS the task of transforming the existing playground with a modern showpiece, rich with accessible and inclusive play values.
CRS played a huge role in this project, from the initial park design to site excavation to the installation of the play equipment to the final wet pour of rubber surfacing.
The playspace consists of a massive KliX KubixPlay slide and tower combination with plenty of play value for all ages and wheelchair access ramps and bridges. The giant-sized building blocks and vibrant geometric cladding can’t be ignored and certainly won’t be forgotten. Surrounding the structure, a series of KliX NaturePlay Trails provide natural cognitive and physical benefits whilst a super-cool 30m zipline promises to get a lot of attention all year round.
Under the protection of a 40m2 shade sail lives a KliX Triple-Bay swing set fitted with a large Nest Seat, Strap Seat, Toddler Seat and Cub Seat.
KliX KubixPlay is the perfect choice for coastal play areas. The impressive structure is predominantly made from aluminium and stainless steel, complemented with Aussie-made plastics and composite materials that are designed to withstand the harsh Aussie sun and the corrosive beach-side environment.
Mid-Coast Council is extremely happy with the end result and looks to update more playspaces with CRS in the near future.
