Project Outline

The revitalisation of Terry Reserve Playground has introduced a new sense of vibrancy and recreation to the Albion Park community. Designed to champion inclusive play, the upgraded space unites guests of all ages and abilities within one cohesive and engaging play environment.

The star of the upgrade stands the impressive KliX SHADE-N-play Combination Playfort, offering a sheltered yet adventurous play experience. Featuring a diverse range of interactive elements, the playfort combines climbing and sliding play with sensory and role-play panels thoughtfully positioned at ground level, ensuring accessibility and enjoyment for children of all confidence levels and abilities.

Central to the inclusive design, an Accessible Seesaw has been integrated to embody the principle that Everyone Can Play. With ramped entry points, durable hand supports, and seamless wheelchair access, the feature encourages social interaction and cooperative play among children of varied abilities.

Complementing the space are a Spring Kanga Rocker, Voice Tubes, and a Double Bay Swing Set with nest, strap, and toddler seats, enriching the physical and cognitive play opportunities. The carefully selected equipment and vibrant colour palette combine to create a joyful, welcoming, and inclusive oasis that celebrates connection, creativity, and community at Terry Reserve.
