Project Outline

Sensory engagement is a vital part of early childhood development. That’s why sensory panels and interactive elements are often the first pieces we consider when designing school play spaces, they encourage children to explore through touch, movement and play while supporting cognitive growth and social connection.

A great example is our recently completed project at St Therese Catholic Parish Primary School. While this was a smaller-scale upgrade, the impact has been significant, transforming the play area into a space that encourages collaborative play, tactile exploration and a positive social interaction.

The installation features our new 4-in-a-row panel, alongside a tic-tac-toe panel, twist & tangle activity, and a height chart. Together, these interactive features create an engaging hub where students can play side-by-side, problem-solve, and challenge each other in fun, inclusive setting. It’s the kind of everyday play that builds essential skills such as analytical thinking, coordination and communication, all while keeping recess exciting.

Project like St Therese reflect what we do best at CRS: creating pay environment that support sensory development, encourage active participation and give every individual a place to connect, learn and enjoy their break times.
