Project Information

Wollongong City Council has collaborated with CRS to bring new life to Mount Kembla Oval Park. The upgrade now provides play opportunity for guests of all ages, bringing a vibrant atmosphere to the park with its brand-new equipment.

A KliX FUSIONplay Combination Playfort is the highlight of the upgrade, encapsulating climbing, sliding and roleplay elements within the one structure. The fort encourages joint play, including elements for all ages and skills to engage with the fort simultaneously. A Nature Play Trail has further been included just opposite the Playfort, encouraging down to earth, tactile play. The Play Trail engages and strengthens key skills such as balance and coordination, further enriching the overall play experience. Additionally, a Double Bay Swing Set, Rope Whirl and Skateboard Rocker have been incorporated into the design to provide further dynamic play opportunity, hitting all of the essential movements when it comes to effective play.

The upgrade has successfully brought vibrance and Next-Gen recreation to the community of Mount Kembla, providing everyone an opportunity to play.
