Club Forster, Forster

Following the design brief, CRS was tasked with designing an outdoor play space at Club Forster to attract more visitors, drive membership growth, and enhance the overall family experience. The transformation has delivered outstanding results, with the new recreational area contributing to a membership increase of over 15%, a direct increase in food and beverage revenue and exceptionally positive guest feedback.

At the heart of the space is a bespoke custom-made KUBIXplay tower, a multi-level structure providing a diverse range of play elements. Featuring over 10 interactive activities, the tower includes 4 slides of varying intensity, as well as sensory panels to encourage skill-building and tactile engagement. The towers use stainless steel mesh panels, that are semi-transparent to improve external supervision while maintaining an immersive play experience. A wheelchair-accessible ramp at ground level promotes inclusive play, allowing all children, regardless of ability, to engage in adventure.

Sensory standalone play elements, including music chimes, tic-tac-toe, a 4-in-a-row game panel, and voice tubes, are thoughtfully positioned throughout the play area to encourage inclusive and interactive play. A continuous rubber path connects these sensory elements to the swing play zone, which features a double-bay swing set with toddler and strap seats, alongside a dynamic mega-swing for small groups to enjoy together. And just beyond, an adrenaline-pumping double zipline adds the ultimate thrill – don’t be surprised if adults join in too!

From ground to sky, this space is bursting with energy, colour and adventure. It’s fast becoming the talk of the town for families and visitors to Club Forster. By blending active, sensory and inclusive play elements, this carefully designed space delivers lasting entertainment for families, ensuring Club Forster remains a welcoming destination for guests of all ages.
