Recreation Ground Playground, Tweed Heads

Early 2024, Tweed Shire Council opened The Recreation Ground Park on Recreation Street in Tweed Heads – An inclusive play space designed for the community’s growth and future needs. It features a popular KliX TOWERplay play fort, equipped with over a dozen activities. A versatile play space, including a semi-basketball court, shaded swing set and a huge Iron Bark Tee-Pee.  The new Recreation Ground Park promises to cater for mixed-age groups and encourage inclusive play opportunities, balanced within subtle nature play elements.
