Faulkland Crescent Reserve, Kings Park

Client: Blacktown City Council
Location: 27 Faulkland Cres, Kings Park NSW 2148
Budget: $140,000-$180,000

Project Outline

Faulkland Crescent Reserve has seen a drastic makeover as a result of the partnership of CRS and Blacktown City Council. With innovation at its core, the space now reflects a more modern and comprehensive look.

An overarching theme of inclusivity shaped the reserve’s makeover, incorporating a handpicked selection of diverse equipment, to cater to all senses. Our KliX FUSIONplay Combination Climber sits at the park’s core, drawing the youth of Kings Park in with its mix of climbing and interactive elements.

CRS worked strategically to ensure the revitalized area not only worked in with but complimented the slanted topography and existing views of Faulkland Reserve, using connecting concrete paths and colour scheme as tools to unify the grounds.

The new look also considers visibility and supervision, providing nature play and sandstone logs as informal seating arrangements, allowing caregivers to supervise comfortably and shaded.
