Project Outline

Stokes Park in Taree has welcomed an exciting new playground, delivered through the collaboration of MidCoast Council and CRS. Designed to support play for all ages and abilities, the new space provides the local community with a fresh recreation destination packed with engaging equipment.

At the centre of the playspace is a custom FUSIONplay structure, featuring more than 13 elements that promote climbing, balancing, problem solving, agility and active exploration. The multi-use design encourages collaborative play, bringing children together in one shared play experience.

A range of standalone items further boosts the play value, including a Buggy Rocker, Whizzy Dizzy, Disc Steppers and Balance Beams, offering even more opportunities to build strength, coordination and confidence. Rounding out the space is a swing set with a nest seat, delivering a classic play experience while inviting inclusive, shared use.

Overall, the Stokes Park upgrade creates a vibrant, inclusive playspace the Taree community can enjoy for years to come.
