Project Outline

Accessibility and inclusive play were at the top of the play space brief. With this in mind, CRS designed a beautiful open-plan play area, nestled between the local tennis courts, Community Centre and established flora.

The surface is a combination of soft-fall rubber, concrete paths and playground mulch. The concrete path begins at the Community Centre, facilitating regular Mother’s groups with small children and prams to stroll to the playground with ease.  The continuous path intertwines the whole area, which acts as a lite scooter path for visitors on 2 wheels. A wheelchair-accessible spinning carousel and an inground trampoline again make it easy for less mobile friends to have a great time.

At ground level, our little guests are spoiled with a 3-in-a-row play pillar, musical chimes and nature play trails. A make-believe shop stall and police station stall, spark imaginations and improve social skills. Nearby, a 2-bay swing set encourages parents/carers to interact with children as well as teach young ones to take turns.

The main attraction goes to a stunning yet modest KliX TOWERplay structure. The TWR-014 series is armed with two slides, climbing steppers and a sheltered play area.
