Project Outline

Fraser Rise is a diverse and fast-growing community situated in Melbourne’s northwest, bringing a flourishing and vibrant atmosphere to the community. CRS was awarded the task of bringing the upcoming suburb a space of contemporary recreation that boasts inclusivity, creativity and leisure. Successfully, in partnership with Melton City Council, Fraser Rise Playspace advertises next-gen play equipment, providing opportunity of equal and extensive play for all.

A KliX TOWERplay structure was strategically chosen to be the central playfort of the developing space in Fraser Rise. The tower acts as a viewpoint for guests, drawing immediate attraction to the area and providing over 12 assorted activities for the new guests of the play space. Elements including a dice climber, climbing wall, step crossing, net climb and both double and tube slides, make up the thrilling tower, reaching all the essential skills of play with extensive play value.

Partnering the central structure closely is a thoughtfully positioned Multi Rocker. After an adventurous venture up the play tower, kids are encouraged to find themselves onto the Multi Rocker and engage in collaborative play with the other park guests. In line with this an Inclusive Carousel has been placed on the other side of the central structure, encouraging combined play across all ages and abilities, whether you are crawling, rolling or walking onto the carousel.

Additionally, a Mega Swing complements the overall play space, adding a final thrilling touch to the spaces play value. A nest seat encourages collaborative play, fitting multiple users as the same time.

Overall, Fraser Rise has received an inclusive and modern playspace, finished with a cohesive and natural palette, reflecting that of the surrounding natural elements. The space encourages guests to interact and play together, bringing the community a space where they can come together and relax.
